What is the best period for this pelagic expedition?

April is an excellent period for most breeding seabirds, apart from Desertas Petrel, and it can also bring a selection of migratory species. From late May until the end of August, most breeding birds are still around, although Barolo’s Shearwater becomes less likely during that part of the season. August stands out for migratory seabirds, but White-faced Storm Petrels are usually no longer present then.
