Can I visit the Zino's Petrel breeding area on my own at night?

No. Under Madeira’s conservation rules for the Zino’s Petrel nesting area, bird observation and night listening there require IFCN authorization and may be conducted only by registered tour operators or eligible organizations dedicated to bird conservation or monitoring. Join an appropriately authorized tour and follow the guide’s instructions. Ordinary daytime trail access is governed separately.
